[Los Angeles, CA] On Friday morning, a Los Angeles Unified School District bus carrying twelve students was involved in an accident in South Los Angeles. The crash occurred near the corner of South Western Avenue and West 54th Street, in the Harvard Park neighborhood. Reportedly, the bus collided with multiple parked cars before plowing into a resident’s front yard fence.
The bus driver was taken to the hospital after feeling discomfort following the crash. Luckily, no other injuries were reported and none of the students aboard required hospitalization.
At this time, the cause of the incident is still under investigation by officials. No further information has been released at this time. However, authorities remain on scene of the crash in order to investigate and clear the area.
