Los Angeles, California – The Los Angeles Police Department reported a shocking collision that resulted in serious injuries at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Saticoy Street in Sun Valley. The incident occurred when a negligent driver operating a white Mercedes Benz ignored a red traffic light and collided with an SUV.
Dashboard camera footage shows the Mercedes driver speeding through the red light just before the collision. The obtained video reveals the chaos following the crash, with the Mercedes sustaining severe damage, losing doors, and the SUV being affected.
Emergency personnel responded promptly, transporting three individuals from the Mercedes, including a pregnant woman, to the hospital. The condition of the injured has not been disclosed at this time, while it’s reported that the SUV driver emerged unscathed.
The intersection was blocked off as detectives investigated the cause of the crash and crews work on clearing the area. It has not been determined whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the San Fernando Valley accident.
