Multiple-Car Collision in Tulare Claims One Life

Tulare County, California – The Tulare County Fire Department responded to an urgent call that led them to the intersection of Highway 204 and Avenue 196, near Plainview, where a heartbreaking accident unfolded.

Upon arrival, they were faced with the scene of three colliding vehicles. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), a 23-year-old, driving east in a Ford Focus on Avenue 196, rear-ended an SUV in front of him.

The initial impact triggered a series of unfortunate events. The SUV driver lost control, resulting in a collision with a fence and a utility pole. Meanwhile, the out-of-control Focus veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with another approaching vehicle.
