I-15 Accident: Two Hospitalized in SUV Rollover

Hesperia, California – A dramatic incident on Interstate 15 left two individuals hospitalized after an SUV rollover.

The incident occurred around 8:23 p.m. on December 5, 2023, in the northbound lane of I-15, specifically at the highway 395 overpass. Authorities, including the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department teams, swiftly responded to the rollover accident call.

According to an eyewitness, the driver lost control while avoiding scattered wooden debris in the traffic lanes. In an unfortunate turn, the SUV veered into a trailer attached to a cargo truck.

The resulting impact caused the SUV to collide with the guardrail on the highway’s right shoulder, triggering a violent rollover that took it off the road.

As a result of the I-15 accident, two individuals involved were transported to a local hospital via ground ambulances. The nature and severity of their injuries remain unknown at this time. Meanwhile, the cargo truck driver reported no injuries following the impact.

As of now, additional details are limited. Both incidents related to this accident will undergo a thorough investigation by the California Highway Patrol, specifically under the jurisdiction of the Victorville Office.
