LOMPOC, CA – On Tuesday morning, a tragic collision occurred on Highway 1 in Lompoc, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and leaving two others with minor injuries. According to the California Highway Patrol from Buellton, the accident happened when a southbound Kia vehicle veered into oncoming traffic.
The collision took place when the front of a northbound Chevrolet truck collided with the left side of the Kia. Unfortunately, this impact resulted in fatal injuries for the three occupants of the Kia vehicle.
After the accident, two individuals traveling in the Chevrolet truck were injured and transported to Marian Regional Medical Center by ground ambulance. Fortunately, their injuries are considered minor, and their swift recovery is expected.
The vehicle collision in Lompoc resulted in a tragic outcome of three fatalities and two injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident to determine the exact cause of the accident.
