Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash Claims Life of 31-Year-Old In Oakdale

[Oakdale, CA] – Early Monday evening, the California Highway Patrol received a call about a single-vehicle rollover crash west of Oakdale. Responding to the scene located on River Road east of Sawyer Avenue, they discovered a Dodge van overturned and resting on its passenger side with 31-year-old Paige Henderson pinned underneath. Unfortunately, she was declared dead at the scene.

Investigators determined that the van had been traveling east when it left the shoulder of the road and rolled over, ejecting Henderson in the process. The CHP is still trying to identify who was driving at the time of the crash.

A man, 26-year-old Brad Scoville from Oakdale, who admitted to knowing Henderson, was found at the scene and arrested due to multiple existing warrants for various crimes. He remains in Stanislaus County jail. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The CHP is asking anyone with information about this incident to call 209-543-2405 or send an email to Oakdale_Area_CHP@chp.ca.gov.
