[California] On Sunday, February 26th, Kelis — known for her chart-topping single “Milkshake” — took to Instagram and shared a video of the devastating aftermath of an automobile accident that she and her children were in during a fierce snowstorm in California.
In the accompanying video, Kelis details her experience of being stranded outside for an extended period while awaiting a tow truck to secure her vehicle. She illustrated the incident, saying that the truck was nearly “perched on a cliff’s edge.” Fortunately, everyone survived unscathed and Kelis seemed to be in good spirits as she flaunted her ‘rescue fashion’ with multiple layers and a headlamp.
Kelis encouraged her fans to always be prepared, and in the accompanying caption, she explained that her plan was to take her children to the snow, but the accident almost turned into a tragic incident.
