4 Injured in Police Chase in Los Angeles

(Los Angeles, CA) Four people and a dog were injured on Wednesday night when a police chase in Los Angeles ended in a collision between two vehicles at downtown.

Authorities report that the pursuit began around 9:00 p.m. when they attempted to stop and search a driver suspected of reckless driving, but he ignored the officers’ indication and attempted to flee at high speed.

The chase ended near South Hope and 9th streets when the suspect caused a terrible crash that resulted in four injuries and a hurt dog. After the collision, authorities were able to apprehend the suspect and take him into custody.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the four victims were taken to the hospital for immediate treatment and medical attention, while animal control also had to assist the animal with minor injuries.
