OILDALE, CALIFORNIA – On the morning of Sunday, July 7, Felix Mardoqueo Flores Hernandez, 39-year-old, lost his life after being hit by a car in Oildale. This tragic incident occurred around 7:36 a.m. in the 200 block of Teakwood Drive.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the vehicle, Oscar Hernandez Garcia, 44-year-old, allegedly used his car intentionally to hit the victim. This deliberate act resulted in Felix Hernandez’s immediate death at the scene.
The police responded promptly and arrested Garcia, who now faces murder charges. However, Oscar Garcia pleaded not guilty during his court appearance on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 9, and his next hearing is scheduled for July 18.
