(San Bernardino, CA) Local authorities reported a fatal accident involving a large truck and a pedestrian on Highway 10 in Bloomington. The victim was apparently fleeing from a family argument on the highway when they were hit by the truck.
The accident was reported around 9:45 p.m. heading west on Highway 10 and Cedar Avenue, where it was reported that two family members had an argument inside a parked vehicle on the side of the highway.
The pedestrian got out of the car and onto the highway, only to be hit by a large truck heading west shortly thereafter. The victim was declared dead at the scene.
Authorities found a family member holding the victim’s body on the road when they pursued a vehicle in the same area, intercepting the family member as the main suspect. Upon meeting the truck driver, who remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, they released the family member without suspicion.
