Metro Bus Crash in South El Monte Causes 12 Injuries

South El Monte, California — A Metro bus crash in South El Monte left at least 12 people injured early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Rosemead Boulevard and Klingerman Street, outside the 168 Ace Lumber & Supply business.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported that one individual was in critical condition, while four others sustained moderate injuries. Seven additional people were treated for minor injuries. The collision involved a Metro bus and a truck carrying lumber, though the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
