Anaheim, California – A California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer sustained minor injuries on Tuesday morning after his patrol vehicle was rear-ended by a hit-and-run on the 91 Freeway in Anaheim. The incident occurred just after 8 a.m. while the officer conducted a traffic stop on the westbound side of the freeway near Euclid Street.
According to reports, the officer was seated inside his vehicle when a black Nissan pickup truck collided with the rear of his patrol car. Following the impact, the truck driver fled the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned under the Euclid Street overpass, but the driver, described as an adult male, has yet to be apprehended. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.

Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and are urging anyone with information about this accident in Anaheim to contact the CHP’s Westminster office.
