Antelope Valley, CA – A sorrowful Antelope Valley car accident resulted in the death of Cameron Miles, a 32-year-old man from Hesperia, on Friday morning. The fatal crash took place at approximately 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of 240th Street East and Avenue O, as confirmed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the Department of Medical Examiner.
CHP’s initial investigations reveal that Miles drove a 2012 Chrysler northbound on 240th Street East. His vehicle veered across the center line for reasons currently under examination, leading to a head-on collision with a southbound 2011 Dodge Ram.
The impact was severe enough that the Dodge Ram’s driver sustained only minor injuries and was subsequently transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment. Tragically, Miles was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cameron Miles was a committed lineman working with IBEW Local 47. His untimely passing has left his family and community in profound grief. On social media, Miles’ aunt, Laura Lohr, shared a heartfelt post expressing the deep sorrow felt by the family. Cameron’s mother, Denise, conveyed her immense loss, stating, “My beautiful boy was killed in a car accident on his way to work. Cameron loved well, and he was well loved.” Friends, family, and colleagues remember him as a vibrant and loving individual who brought joy to those around him.
