Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Accident in Eagle Rock

Orange County, California – A pedestrian lost his life in a tragic hit-and-run accident that occurred on the night of Thursday, June 13, on Highway 2 in Eagle Rock. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the incident took place shortly before 10:15 p.m., south of Colorado Boulevard.

Although the information from authorities is limited, it is known that the pedestrian, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was on northbound Highway 2 when they were struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. CHP officers confirmed the impact was so severe that the victim was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Authorities continue to investigate and are searching for the suspect vehicle. The California Highway Patrol has urged anyone with information about the accident or the whereabouts of the vehicle to contact them immediately.
