(Los Angeles, CA) An enraged driver aggressively rammed nearby vehicles along Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills near the 101 overpass.
The incident, which appears to have been an act of road rage, occurred around 2 p.m. and was captured by surveillance cameras and witnesses at the scene.
Paul Sampietro, one of the victims of the aggressive driver in Woodland Hills, told local media that the driver was at the stoplight checking his cellphone, and when he left, he ran the red light, nearly colliding with cars on Ventura Boulevard, so he decided to stay close to the driver since they were headed in the same direction.
“I noticed he was driving erratically and passing cars until he finally hit someone, I tried to stop him and trap him, so he couldn’t escape until the authorities arrived,” Sampietro said to the media.
The VIDEO shows how the aggressive driver reversed and hit the car behind him, which was recording the moment of rage, then hit another car on the opposite side of the street before ramming a minivan. Four vehicles were involved in his rage attack, including his Ford Mustang.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported that several people suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. It is currently unknown whether alcohol or drugs were significant factors in the accident, but it was mentioned that the driver appeared stressed at the time of the incident.
