Los Angeles, CA – Empowering the youth and building a better place for children to grow and succeed sits at the core of Farahi Law Firm’s community advocacy. On August 21, 2022, FLF partnered with I Am A Movement Not A Monument to give out brand new laptops and gift cards to give families in the Inglewood, CA area a good headstart for the new school season.
I Am A Movement Not A Monument is a nonprofit organization founded by Duran Bowie in 2012 to provide support for young people, their families, and their communities and help guide children towards achieving their fullest potential. The organization’s goal is to raise awareness and shine a spotlight on the needs of the youth, as well as spread the message of hope in the community and all over the country.
The Back To School Event held at the Curtis Tucker Center at Inglewood delivered pre-filled school backpacks, lunch, free haircuts, free professional nail services, arts and crafts, Narcan training, fitness activities, and free COVID-19 vaccinations to attendees. Personal injury law firm Farahi Law was one of the exhibitors and raffled off brand new laptops and Amazon gift cards.
