Remembering Alejandro Vargas
Five years have passed since Alejandro Vargas left. However, there is not a single moment in which his family, friends, and the Bakersfield community remember him with infinite love and look for ways to honor his name.
Remembered for his compassion and dedication, Alejandro always sought ways to uplift his community. Josie Rosel, his mother, recalls his relentless pursuit of change, passion for helping others, and mission to inspire. Feeding those in need was one of Alejandro’s greatest passions, a mission that, Farahi Law Firm and his family continue to uphold in his honor.
On June 30th, Farahi Law Firm (FLF), led by CEO Atty. Justin Farahi had the privilege to stand alongside Alejandro’s family to bring the Bakersfield community a light of hope and peace in his name and legacy. Attending the Bakersfield Homeless Center to fulfill one of Alejandro’s cherished dreams again, the volunteers aimed at assisting over 250 individuals.
In the Service of Others
The event started around 5:00 pm with a spirit of solidarity that quickly spread to everyone present. As the event unfolded, the FLF team provided portable chargers, hygiene products, and food donations to the residents of the shelter.
During the event, Atty. Justin Farahi engaged actively with attendees, addressing their needs directly. His commitment was evident as he identified and fixed issues like poor air conditioning, ensuring everyone felt valued and comfortable.

One of the many memorable moments that marked this event was when a hesitant young boy approached its team booth with striking blue eyes. Despite initial reluctance, the Farahi Law team persisted until a small skateboard finally brightened his expression. His mother explained their hardships, which had subdued his usual cheerfulness.
This act of kindness exemplified the profound impact of compassion.
Reaching Out To More Communities
Farahi Law Firm plans to continue supporting the Bakersfield community and their next event will take place on August 4, 2024 – the Back to School Drive where they will provide school supplies to families.
There will be free haircuts, food vendors, a car show, raffle prizes, jumpers, and more. All this is to bring joy and an amazing last day of summer to the Bakersfield kids before going back to school.
