Fresno County, California – Clovis police are currently immersed in the investigation of a shocking traffic accident that has left an individual hospitalized. The incident occurred around 5 pm in the busy Sierra area, between Peach and Willow Avenue.
According to official reports, the incident unfolded as a driver was heading east on Sierra Avenue. Unfortunately, they collided with a tree-trimming elevated platform that was parked on the sidewalk.
The situation became even more serious as a tree trimmer was inside the bucket of the platform at that precise moment. The impact was so severe that the worker fell to the ground, sustaining serious injuries.
As a result of the accident, the affected tree trimmer was swiftly transported to the hospital and is currently in critical condition.
The driver responsible for the collision also suffered injuries during the incident and was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the injuries were categorized as minor, but the driver remains under medical observation.
