Rialto, CA – A follow-up investigation has led to the arrest of a DUI suspect in a tragic San Bernardino DUI crash that left a 50-year-old pedestrian dead and injured two others, including a young child. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Etiwanda and North Riverside Avenues, according to the Rialto Police Department.
Police report that a green Dodge van driver attempted an illegal left turn and collided with an oncoming black Audi. The impact sent the Dodge van onto the sidewalk, which struck two pedestrians. Tragically, the man succumbed to his injuries, while the woman sustained only minor injuries. The collision also affected passengers in the Audi, including a 2-year-old child.
