The collision occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. near Crenshaw Boulevard and West 78th Street in Hyde Park. Investigators said a Toyota Camry was turning left onto West 78th Street when a BMW traveling along Crenshaw Boulevard struck its side.
The Camry’s driver and an adult passenger died at the scene. A young girl riding in the vehicle was transported to a hospital in critical condition, while the BMW driver was also injured.
