(San Diego, CA) A 23-year-old man from Oceanside has been arrested for driving under the influence after causing a terrible fatal accident near Bonsall that claimed the lives of an adult and a 4-year-old child.
According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, Erick Arambula, 23, was arrested on Tuesday and faces multiple charges, including felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
The accident occurred on Sunday at 3:13 p.m. when a black truck, a white Tesla, and a black sedan collided terribly, blocking all southbound lanes of the 1-15 for several hours.
The truck flipped and landed on top of the sedan, causing severe injuries to the passengers, who were later declared dead at the scene. The Bonsall accident delayed traffic for several hours and caused terrible havoc for the victims’ families. Our thoughts and prayers are with their family and friends.
