(Stockton, CA) According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a terrible collision occurred on Highway 26 in Stockton on Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred before 11:00 a.m. on Highway 26 and Alpine Road when two vehicles, an Infiniti and a white F-250, collided.
Initial investigations indicate that an Infiniti traveling eastbound, for reasons unknown, hit the gravel on the shoulder and lost control of their vehicle, swerving into oncoming traffic.
As the Infiniti entered traffic, the white F-250 struck its passenger side. No serious injuries were reported, but the condition of both drivers is currently unknown.
At this time, drugs and alcohol are ruled out as a significant factor in the collision on Highway 26 in Stockton. The investigation is ongoing and authorities urge anyone with relevant information to come forward immediately.
